The main event in the 2019 Week of Hockey Stars in Tatarstan, the culmination of the hockey festivities for thousands of fans, is the KHL All-Star Game.
The 2019 edition will be the eleventh All-Star Game in the Kontinental Hockey History and, as the tradition dictates, it will feature the Skill Show and the Division teams were the best players and coaches will join to battle each other in front of the fans.
In the League’s history, the All-Star Games featured superstars like Jaromir Jagr and Sergey Fedorov, Alexei Yashin and Alexander Radulov, Vladimir Tarasenko and Evgeny Kuznetsov, Pavel Datsyuk and Danis Zaripov. Millions of fans watched on Youtube Mikhail Anisin’s solo in Riga; Konstantin Barulin’s dance and Ilya Kovalchuk’s figure skating in Chelyabinsk; the coaches’ tablet throwing contest in Bratislava; and the incredible shootout by Nikita Gusev. At the 2016 KHL All-Star Game in Moscow, the fans enjoyed Linus Omark’s flaming stick; or King Nigel Dawes and Superman Pavel Padakin in Astana; without forgetting Vladimir Tkachev, who in Ufa won the shootout contest literally sticking the puck to his stick.
Will the fans see a new world record for hardest shot, beating the current holder Alexander Ryazantsev? Will someone get close to Enver Lisin’s record-setting lap? How many goals will the KHL all-time top scorer Sergei Mozyakin? All the replies at the Week of Hockey Stars in Tatarstan!
